The short version: Booklett collects no user data — none. There is no account, no analytics, no telemetry, and no third-party tracking. Everything you add to Booklett lives in your own browser, on your own device.
What Booklett stores
Bookmarks you add and your appearance settings (theme, icon size, column spacing, icon shape)
are saved using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API. This storage is local to your
browser profile and never leaves your device. Booklett has no server, so there is nowhere for
your data to be sent. Removing the extension deletes this data.
What Booklett does not collect
- No personal information (name, email, age, identifiers)
- No browsing history or network logs
- No location data
- No clicks, keystrokes, or other user activity
- No health, financial, or authentication information
Network requests
The only network activity Booklett performs is fetching the small site icons (favicons) for bookmarks you add yourself, so the grid can show recognizable icons. The request goes to the bookmarked site's own icon or a public favicon service, contains no user identifiers, and is never used for tracking.

Booklett uses no remote code. All functionality is provided by JavaScript, CSS, and HTML bundled with the extension package.
Children's privacy
Booklett does not collect any data from anyone, including children.

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date.
